Long Zest Cocktail

This house cocktail at Scotland’s Glenmorangie House is meant to serve as an introduction to scotch. It’s an Old Fashioned–style formula of whisky, bitters and a flamed orange peel turned into a sipping-friendly long drink with the addition of Fever-Tree ginger ale.

Ingredients in The Long Zest Cocktail

2 oz Glenmorangie Original scotch
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Fever-Tree ginger ale
Garnish: Flamed orange peel
Glass: Rocks

How to make The Long Zest Cocktail

Add the scotch and bitters into a rocks glass over ice, and stir.
Top with the ginger ale, flame an orange peel to express the oils, then add as a garnish.
