Two types of peppers combine with mezcal, citrus and ginger in this
sweet-and-savory concoction.
INGREDIENTS IN THE BARBACOA COCKTAIL
3 slices Bell pepper
3 Lime wedges
1⁄2 tsp Puree chipotle pepper
1⁄2 oz Lemon juice
1⁄2 oz Ginger syrup*
3⁄4 oz Agave nectar
2 oz Mezcal
Garnish: 1 Beef jerky

Glass: Double Old Fashioned
HOW TO MAKE THE BARBACOA COCKTAIL
In a shaker, muddle the bell pepper slices and lime wedges.
Add the remaining ingredients and fill with ice.
Shake, and pour (unstrained) into a double Old Fashioned glass.
Garnish with a piece of beef jerky.
